Bookshelves in Ash, inspired by Donald Judd's library at The Block in Marfa, Texas. Stained and finished with soft oil-wax finishes.
The lower shelf functions as a bench seat to sit and read, or as a step to reach the higher shelves. The walled in sides help create a separate space.
Shown in a twelve foot long configuration. Customizable to any size. I'd love to make one freestanding and two sided - institutions hmu.
